Shat at the Gallen Kallela Museo or in Tapiola. For the first shoot, I chose the traditional Korean dress - a hanbok. It's a very loose fitting dress unlike the Chinese cheongsam - more like a cross between a Japanese kimono and a Chinese dress. I can thank Akseli itsepalvelukirpputori for the hat and umbrellas from Thailand The second session features a a salwar kameez I found at the Helsinki International School Spring swap meet. Unfortunately for the session, we went out, took about 15 shots, and then a huge lightning bolt hit nearby and we went running back inside before the sky opened up with rain. These were all taken with the 30D, 85mm 1.8 (love this lens for portraiture!) 1. F/1.8 ISO 400 2. F/1.8 ISO 400 She's not quite sure how to keep it perched on her head so gave me this face 3. F/1.8 ISO 100 4. F/1.8 ISO 100 5. A quick photomanipulation of one of the shots 6. F/1.8 ISO 800 It was very dark in this area in the woods 7. F/1.8 ISO 800 8. F/2.8 ISO 100 At this point, I closed down the aperture from wide open to get some face shots - love the cool blue of this 9. F/2.8 ISO 100 And in Tapiola: 10. F/1.8 ISO 100 11. F/1.8 ISO 100 12. F/1.8 ISO 100 13. F/1.8 ISO 100
Vs: Salwar ja Hanbok - Gallen Kallela ja Tapiola Hello Aixchel Strong "waiting" composition is in your first picture, leading path to brown hat to face. Second one, little bit humorous standing position and over blue eyes are making something nice, getting balance posee with that same hat. Black and white pictures, especially little bit tilted picture (number 6), is maybe not so good for this series? Rich colors in good place, nice clothing, trusted feeling is been catch in your pictures. Very interesting.
