Vs: Sarah I like them both a lot. Totally different feeling in the pictures. The top one is dramatic. The bottom one is exciting and fun. Both are timeless.
Vs: Sarah Missing eye contact is weakening the strength of these images, especially in case of lower one. Nice pictures though. (I belive you have one with the eye contact [sarah 1-6.jpg])
Vs: Sarah The upper one is better, mostly because there are too much brick wall in the lower one, almost all in the left. But sadly, even if the girl is beautiful, her eyes are staring something miles away and so her eyes tell nothing I'd like them to tell me. Even something, what she sees, feels . . .
Vs: Sarah Wonderful pictures! Nice to see some portraits taken by you, Kresimir. I have no problems with the bricks, and I fully agree with you about the eye contact; sometimes nice – but not always needed. Good composition and ah, so nice tones!
Vs: Sarah Yes I noticed - you have strong own style. As a Portraitist I am and commented with lack of understanding of bigger picture ,D
Vs: Sarah I really like the black (color) in the first one. Sarah seeing something far away makes photo just right. I do like all three of them but find the third one a bit fake or surreal, fault or not...
Vs: Sarah There is absolutely no need for eye contact. Two first ones are amazing pictures. First girl is waiting something bad to happen and then "bad" had arrived and girl is frightened. Photographer is just in the right place at the right time.
Vs: Sarah I neither don`t have problem with lack of eye-contact. 1 and 2 are best for my opinion. The sign on cardoor in third picture makes it kind of weird.. Is it commentary or humour or what? The strenth of girls face kinda fades because the sign is quite big element in picture. Anyway, great pics. All three have strong cinematic feel.
Vs: Sarah I think the idea is the contrast between the girl and the surroundings - beauty against ugly. However, I have difficulties to get over this contrast as it is too striking - I mean it feels too artificial especially when I look how the girl poses. So in principle good ideas and technically perfect but they do not impress me.
Vs: Sarah <SIZE size="1"]</SIZE> I disagree. She is mayby waiting but not anything bad. <SIZE size="1"]</SIZE> I agree, you said it!
Vs: Sarah For me, these photos are ruined by white shirt and white hat. It would be great to have only dark tones, because girl separates well from backround despite her dark hair, this is due to good use of light. Sincerely, Jukka
